Rwanda's weather is massive because it is located in the ITCZ ( Intertropical Convergence Zone). The equatorial region is known as the inter tropical convergence Zone, because it is where winds from the Northern and southern hemispheres collide. Sometimes there are violent thunderstorms that disable airlines in flight because the thunderstorms can tower may be up to 60,000 feet: " said the professor Case during lectures," far higher than the level the plane can fly over.In the equatorial zone, there are all kind of storms.
This image shows how tropical cyclones cause vast flooding. Tornadoes are more violent and have a very very strong wind. Usually have violent rotating columns of air . They happen mostly after floods and lightning.
This image shows a tree that been hitten by a wind. It's like microburst, when the wind goes all in one directions violently.
This image show how rainforests( in green) lie in the intertropical convergence zone where intense solar energy produces a convection zone of rising air that loses its moisture through frequent rainstorms.
